The Calvert County Rescue Dive Team is a volunteer public safety department that responds to some of the most challenging emergencies in our local waterways, including search, rescue, and recovery operations in the Chesapeake Bay, rivers, and creeks throughout our community. Maintaining this level of readiness requires specialized equipment, continuous training, and reliable response assets, most importantly, a capable rescue vessel. As we are preparing to bring a new boat into service this July, we are asking for the community’s support. To help fund this critical upgrade and sustain our operations, we will be hosting online raffles and other fundraising events in the coming months. Every dollar raised goes directly toward ensuring our divers are properly equipped and ready to respond when our community needs us most.
