| Diving is inherently dangerous. A single mistake, unexpected snag, or equipment malfunction can lead to serious consequences. To minimize these risks, members regularly train to build and improve their skills. Today’s drill began at 0800 hours starting out with how the communications work and rope signals we were focused on a slower pace to give our newest members the opportunity to learn and participate fully. A prospective member also joined the team to observe firsthand how public safety diving differs from recreational diving. Training sessions like these help ensure that all participants are prepared to operate safely and effectively in challenging environments. |
