| During the monthly drill at Jefferson Patterson park, the team practiced additional skills to prepare for the new department boat This training involved underwater search patterns with two divers. One diver serves as the anchor point while the second diver performs a sweep pattern. Communication lines were used to allow a topside tender to coordinate and listen to both divers. This can be best utilized from a boat and our team would be able to deploy multiple diver search groups
The new boat is currently under construction and is scheduled for delivery in late July. |
